There's a whole lot of stuff that gets rolled into December and given the label 'Christmas'. Lots of has nothing to do with celebrating the birth of Jesus - some of it's good anyway, and some of it's a pile of tat!
I'm not averse to a little tat every now and then.
At work today we got the Christmas decorations out - mostly a pile of old tat. All very cheap and cheerful. More cheerful than cheap - so the office will be a nicer place to be for a few weeks.
Not that it's not a nice - but the world's a better place with tinsel round the edges.
Of course it's not as much fun since the accommodation police stopped us sticking things on the walls and the health and safety people stopped us dangling things from the ceiling. Climbing onto the desk via a chair on wheels can't be that dangerous - surely?
Anyway - this is me a couple of weeks ago when the Liverpool Christmas Lights were switched on. I'm standing with the Christmas Yak! Rather over sized, but realistic enough to make Matthew too scared to stand next to it.
